Meet the Faculty: Paul Crane, MD

Paul Crane, MD, has recently joined our department in the Neuroimmunology & Autoimmune Neurology Division as an Assistant Professor (Clinical). Here, he answers questions about his hobbies, bucket list, and childhood career goals. Get to know our faculty on a more personal level as we spotlight someone for each issue of NeurologyNews!

What are your hobbies? 

Violin, woodworking, and hiking!

What is your favorite meal/dessert?

Cookies for both.

What are one or two things you want to learn to do?
  1. Learn to play the cello
  2. Make my own cabinets
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better?

Cookies!

What song always gets you out on the dance floor?

Anything my wife loves to dance to.

What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Not sure . . . 

Name one thing on your bucket list.

I’d love to drive a fan boat through the Everglades.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An astronaut!

What is the best concert you’ve ever attended?

Yellowcard.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

I love not always knowing the answer and learning more looking for the answer.
