Cognitive Neurology

Overview

The Division of Cognitive Neurology focuses on understanding cognition—a sensitive and distinctive marker of brain function—in brain disease. The division provides a wide range of clinical services, including outpatient cognitive neurology consultation, neuropsychological evaluation, dementia health education, and proactive social work. Division research focuses on a broad range of clinical research topics including clinical drug trials, imaging research, and pragmatic health-services research involving normal aging and neurodegenerative diseases causing dementia.
