Melissa joined the neurology team in 2023. She currently runs communications for the department, including emails, newsletters, print publications, social media, and the website. She earned a BA in editing and publishing from Brigham Young University in 2020, then worked as an editor for an auditing company in Los Angeles until 2022. Missing home, she returned to Utah and started working here at the University of Utah. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys thinking up new ways to write her job bio and trying to explain the Chicago Manual of Style to her friends.
