About Me
Ross Smith was born in Connecticut and then moved several times before settling in Omaha, Nebraska. He went to college at the University of Michigan, originally with the intention of continuing his policy debate career, but ended up majoring in chemistry with an emphasis on organic synthesis. He then attended law school, also at the University of Michigan. He worked in probate and estate law for three years before deciding to combine his backgrounds via medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he became interested in neurological disease, particularly neurodegenerative disorders.
