Lahdan was born and raised right here in beautiful Salt Lake City, UT. While she did spend a year living in Israel volunteering for the Baha’i Faith, she couldn’t stand to be away from her mountains and headed home to attend Westminster College where she studied neuroscience and psychology. She worked as a clinical trial coordinator in pediatric neurology for two years, and loved it. Lahdan went on to attend the University of Utah School of Medicine and further confirmed her passion and fascination with the brain; choosing to pursue a career in neurology. Her interests in research have varied from laughter and stress, to neuromuscular disorders and dementia. She hopes her obsession for all things “brain” will serve her patients well, and is honored to have the opportunity to continue learning from patients and be a part of their healing process. Lahdan firmly believes in the motto “work hard, play hard” and while away from the hospital loves to spend her time with family and friends, hiking, skiing, reading, discussing deep thoughts, eating delicious food, gardening and above all, traveling.
