About Me
DonRaphael split up his childhood between living in Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Virginia but doesn’t speak Spanish, Arabic, or Virginian. He got his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Afterwards he served as a full-time missionary for the LDS church for 2 years in Taiwan and then obtained his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He is married with three wonderful little children. His hobbies now include changing diapers, watching Thomas the Train, playing horsey and changing diapers. Other hobbies include studying history, astronomy, and all things Chinese. He is excited to be here at the University of Utah, where he can take his favorite hobby of studying neurology and turn it into a career!
